Make Your Operation a Destination in Just A Few Easy Steps
What is creamier than sorbet and doesn’t have the tartness of frozen yogurt? Yep, you guessed it (wink)…DOLE® Soft Serve! Now, let’s make sure you feel comfortable mixing, pouring and serving!
First things first, the mixing and pouring…
Step 1 – Fill a clean DOLE® mixing bucket with cold tap water to the 1 gallon line (indicated on the bucket)
Step 2 – Add the entire bag of DOLE® dry soft serve mix
Step 3 – Stir with wire whisk until completely dissolved (about 2 minutes)
Step 4 – Add additional cold water to bring the mixture to the 2 gallon line (indicated on the bucket)
Step 5 – Stir again with wire whisk until completely mixed (about 30 seconds)
Step 6 – Pour the mixture into your soft serve machine OR cover and place in your refrigerator for up to 48 hours (FDA requires product temp to reduce to 41° F within 4 hours)
Now the serving…
Depending on your soft serve machine’s freezing times (refer to your owner’s manual), you should have eatable, cone ready soft serve in about 10 minutes! The liquid yield for each mix is 2 gallons per bag or 8 gallons per case. You can get about 89 – ½ cup prepared servings per bag and about 356 – ½ cup prepared servings per case. That’s a lot of soft serve!
